Default Who's got a titanium connecting rod in stock?

I need a forged titanium connecting rod for a Yamaha Raptor that weighs less than the stock rod of 350 grams. I promised to install one for a recent build up but most of the suppliers I know are sold out. I have them on order but the eta is 2-3 months.
If anybody has one in stock please let me know, I am ready to buy it now if it meets my requirements.
Thanks.

Chimmer- You may be out of luck, i saw 8 in bob's shop last week but i think they were all spoken for. I would call anyway. I will say they look SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! . You should watch out though there are 2 differnt types of TI rods out there. Forged and ??? For once my mind is blank on the other type.

Thanks Mark, I will give him a call. This time of year demand is high & a lot of things are on back order, nature of the beast. The other type you are referring to is billet. Definitely not as strong & very notch sensitive. Forged is king!!! I ordered a couple grade 6246 forged titanium connecting rods @ 312 grams each which will rev like a champ in the Raptor. For this job I will take anything lighter than stock but not less than 280 grams. So basically I am looking for anything in the range of 280-350 grams.

Hmm...I haven't gotten anything in my leg or back yet.

But my buddy that wrecked late this past year(I posted on here about it, as I was almost to the point of selling my Raptor), has a titanium rod in his leg.

My brother was racing a 300ex and they were neck and neck i was going to get up behind my bro on his blaster and give him a push and make him go faster. as soon as i reached out for his grab bar he hit the breaks sending me up his tires hitting him knocking him off into a stumble on what felt like a serated blade on the black top concrete road at 65 mph. my raptor then in the upward motion like it was trying to crawl under his blaster. my raptor then started to somehow nose dive and when it went down, me face first the nerf bar snaped my fibula ( back little bone below the knee) in 2 and then snaped my tibia ( the big one in front) in to also. then it was a 250 feet roll donw the concrete and then i tried to carch my self with my elbow and took bone chips out of it ( i can feel the places that its missing them)and the scratched my belly all to **** and all over scratched me bad they called it major laserations all over. i herd you could stick your whole fist in my arm when it happened. Ended up me having all i said screwed up and my brother with a head injury but were both ok. when i was i a wheel chair i was wheelin around the shop and trying to get it back together. Ended up costing about 70K thanks god for insurance.
