Looks to me the guy riding the yamaha either brainfarted or just didnt know how to ride. It was clear the yamaha was gaining and if the start was fair, it would have been totally different. But the Honda did not look slow by any means.

I saw the video and commented and I ride Blue, but you know what im not like all the other morons that ride blue or red and say there quad is the absolute best. I know there are problems with all atvs no matter what the color or label says. The honda did win this race but it just didnt look like a clean race and racing up hills is pointless. That makes every aspect come into play. Does not prove which bike is faster. From what I have read about both bikes though i have never seen them together given there backgrounds from manufacturers I would say the Yamaha probably has more power and would be a faster straight line racer and the Honda probably handles better but doesnt make up for being a little down on power.
Bottom line: Stop with the which one is faster and better bullcrap. Every quad has its strong suits and more then power or handling or anything it comes down to a rider. If you can ride good you can beat alot of people with better quads. Drag racing will never be fair to say whos faster on the dunes. You got rider, tires, power, traction, and in some cases whoops. For instance my brother in law rides a Raptor and at the time it wasnt piped he had baffle taken out and he raced someone with full yosh along with filter and all the typical crap. My brother in law won the 2 times they raced because he was a BETTER RIDER. Anyone with a brain would be able to figure out his bike doesnt make as much power as the yosh bike.
Just because you own one doesnt mean its the best!

I see one thing in that video... one bike beating another.. no if's and's or but's
Make all the excuses you want about launches, tires, mods etc etc.... it all comes down to that one race that was video.
Doesn't mean that one is better, just means that in that one video, one was faster.
They could race again, it could be different.
I love all the excuses people make though
