'01 Wolv Starter noises
#1
I have a 2001 Wolverine that is bone stock.
The electric starter makes a noise when in use that doesn't sound good, like a gear engaging..clanking around..then disengaging. I have ruled out the starter motor (pulled it and tested it separately, albeit not under the load of cranking an engine). The gear that also directly engages the starter motor looks fine. So I think that the only culprit left could be the one way or a starter related gear that is out of sight. I know that this is a problem on the Raptor but havent heard much on the Wolverine, any info would be appreciated. Thanks
