Default Remove Blaster carburetor, How to?

I put on my Toomey B1 pipe on my blaster today, but I can't get the carb off the bike. I loosened the clamps, for the airbox and the engine side, but I can't figure out how to get the Slide out. Does the cap unscrew from the top of the carb? Or does it just pull off?

I don't want to tear it up. And the wires and the oil feed line. How do they come off? I hope someone can help me out, cuz I need to change the jet and needle setting so I can ride with some friends tomorrow morning.

Mostly I mean the slide. How does the cap that holds it come off? Unscrew, or pull off?

I already got the carb loose from both ends. But I can't take the top off. I read a site just now that says to unscrew the knurled ring. I guess a large pair of vise grips for that?

to change the needle youunscrew the big ring at the top and it will come off taking the tors with it.then you can adjust the notch of the clip on the needle.to change the jet unscrew the four screws at the very bottom of the carb then just unscrew the jet

Got it done yesterday. It was a bear unscrewing that cap. I didn't have a big enough pair of vice grips to grab that ring right. Then my hands slipped and I bashed my knuckles on the head, tore a big chunk of skin off.

I put some duct tape on my finger so it wouldn't bleed all over everything, then I got a smaller pair of vice grips and grabbed the ring kind of sideways, then I managed to get it loose. Turned out the needle was already in the right position #3! I put some oil on the ring threads when I put it back together, so it won't be so hard to take off next time.
