95wolv,
I have been surfing around about works shocks. Shoc Connection says recreational rider should rebuild shocks once a year. What is your experience with this. Once a year sounds like a lot of shock rebuilding? Thanks for all you help.

Sounds like a lot of money in their pockets,I have ridden mine hard on the trail for 2 seasons, and have not noticed any drop in quality of ride, I've even dialed down the preload on the shocks for softer landings, a rebuild every year sounds pretty far out there.

I saw a lot of improvement over the stock ride, but I did have a lot of hard miles on the stockers, I remember riding up rutted hills and feeling the back shock bottoming out from going too fast, and the jarring impact from doing high speed whoop jumps on the trail, the handlebars seemed to pogo stick on me a lot, now, a nice firm bounce is all I get, have yet to bottom them out, and I have pounded them pretty good. I have been very happy the last two years, and look forward to lots more.

I have installed the AT Steelers on the front of 2 Wolverines, one almost new. Tremendous improvement in ride qualityand handling. Call Works directly and talk to Tom. He won't steer you wrong!!! No pun intended.
