If you split the forum you sliit the knowledge . AS some of you might have noticed you will get replys from people who ride both sport and utility
If you divide them you will lose part of your knowledge base . I dont understand why you would have a problem reading headings of both sport and utlity
. I have advised utility riders on issue I know of being a mechanic I try to help when I can . But I'm a sport rider so if you divide the forum I will be in Sport
Not in utility And I think there are Utility riders that lend knowledge to the sport rider .

United we stand Divided we fall

JK about what i said earlier He's got a good point - I don't mind reading through all the sport posts.

I agree with Outlawlawndragster,
alot of the questions on here arn't specific to a single quad. They are mostly just questions that some onewho is a good mechanic can help with. All of our quads, 2 and 4 stroke work on the same basic principle, and have siminar suspension, tires, bearings, bushings, cables, chains, and everything else. I know that most questions say RAPTOR CAM, or BANSHEE REBUILD but anyone who has done a rebuild or knows anything about cams can offer there 2 cents.

Um couldnt you just click on the sport one every once in a while to share/gain your knowledge??? Splitting doesnt mean your 4x4 guys cant go in the sport section. I think it would be a great idea.

I'm new so dont flame me too hard, but I think if the posts like "Am I faster than a car" "Will a breeze beat a banshee" "Can I jump over a house while doing a backflip" were against the rules it would be much easier to navigate the forum.

I've posted a few Q's on tires/wheels, almost no responses, and they got burried quick. I don't know why a fast pace is good. Some topics, like this one, will get discussed lots and anything that isn't hit on in the first day or 2 gets burried due to the fast pace. So all fast pace does is burry stuff quick, or keep lots of threads going on the stuff people want to chat about.

I got some feedback on Q's about warranty ending, and excellent feedback on diff-lock problem; all from fellow rec riders. You are right about the knowledge base BUT, the knowledge base is already diluted between all the other makes and forums. You can surf there and still get info, or you could post on both forums if you don't get the info you're looking for in your own forum. For that matter, some of the other forums for Honda and Suzuki have good guys that are knowledgeable about atv's in general and we're not getting the benefit of their input.

I like it the way it is...since it is a "recreational sport"

roughrider, very true sport riders and utility riders alike could just go into the other forum every once and a while, i do kinda think it would be a good idea for this split to happen
