Wow, it only took him a short while to understand whats going bad in these forums, I'm impressed. Now if only we could get these little kids to stop posting this stuff...

Gas gas guys have been pleading for their own forum for months. Lots of people want to disban the cdale forum because they are no longer made. Yet here we are, thinking we need another yamaha forum....

Its a good point though. Because it is so fast, people cant get good feedback all of the time. dbeck, if youre out there sometime buddy, give us some mod input on this issue. Possibly a pole or something might help?

"confusedbuyer " I got some feedback on Q's about warranty ending, and excellent feedback on diff-lock problem; all from fellow rec riders. You are right about the knowledge base BUT, the knowledge base is already diluted between all the other makes and forums. You can surf there and still get info, or you could post on both forums if you don't get the info you're looking for in your own forum. For that matter, some of the other forums for Honda and Suzuki have good guys that are knowledgeable about atv's in general and we're not getting the benefit of their input.
So Why why7 would you want to seperate thing out even further?

" Jarod " roughrider, very true sport riders and utility riders alike could just go into the other forum every once and a while, i do kinda think it would be a good idea for this split to happen
Do you go into other forums now? I usally dont I usally just have time to go to one specific area .

If your posting get's burried go reply to it and type in [b]BUMP[/b

I'm a dune rider but I also love to trail ride . But I have never been in the dune and dune machine forum . Maybe I will go there now and just look around

I just hate to see things get diluted .

I have mentioned this a couple of different times over the last two years. My OPINION of what would forums need to be changed are....

Lose the Sport ATV and ATV Racing Froums.

Replace those with Drag Racing........ MX Racing....and.....XC Racing

I feel that regardless of brand, the guys most interested in their part of the sport would go these forums.

We all jump around on the forums anyway......Even my idea wouldn't solve that, but would get the same type of riders in one forum.

I started a topic on Yam site for alum rims/tires, zero replies. i went to the Drivetrain, suspension, tires, posted same Q and got way more replies. I've visited Suzuki for a Suzuki quad we have. Also visited Utility, but limited info there. kids quads has by far been the most helpful forum to me.the people there really try to help and are patient with some of the stupid questions (some of which are mine).

If I get the answer from the forum I'm on , I don't look elsewhere. Even if Yamaha split, i think we'd still get all the info we need on our split forum. If not, that's when you post (or crawl on your knees and beg!) to the other fine Yamaha folk, and ask for their help.
