There are almost 35,000 topics in this section, which seems by far the largest. Yamaha seems huge. I think ATV Connections should split this into 2 categories; Yamaha sport/speed (for the Banshee, Raptor, Warrior, YFZ,etc...), and utility/rec (bear trackers, bruins, Kodiaks, grizzly,Wolverine,etc..). you could even call the rec side "Animals", considering the names Yamaha has chosen for them over the years.

I find myself scrolling thru tons of topics irrelevant to me about performance mods, and I'm sure the sport guys feel the same way scrolling through the rec topics about mud/trail tires, winches, etc.. No offence against either group intended.

SO, tell ATV Connections what you think.

 

I think they should split it to raptors, and everyone else considering about 50% of the posts in here are raptor related.

 

Try using the search feature. It will narrow it down alot for you.

 

good point kintama, but it's like using a TV guide instead of channel surfing with the remote! I'm too male to do that!!. seriously, I often find the search doesn't find what i want cuzza the way people word their posts.sometimes i like to see what other owners of rec atv's have to say about different things, so i just browse through the topics. In the Yamaha section, you can go 3-4 pages for the same day.if you ask a Q, your post also gets burried and no one replies to you.

 

Actually, if you use the advanced feature you can look for a specific word, or phrase in a post.

 

I like the idea that confusedbuyer has. It would narrow down what a person is interested in. I have notice that the yamaha forum is a lot larger then the other forums. I usually check out the other forums, but when I am in a hurry it would be nice to make a quick check, and like confusedbuyer said topics would not get burried right away.
