I'm planning a dune trip in April. I'm leaving North Dakota heading west and want to hit all the dunes I can. I need some help locating them. I know there are some in Idaho, Oregon, S. Calif, Texas, Louisiana. If I could get some general locations/directions, that would be great. Also, if I get some names of people in the area I'll look ya up and maybe we can do some riding. I've never ridden the dunes, so I don't know what to expect except that it looks like a blast. Hope to ride with some of you soon.

I live In Oregon. There is alot of great riding on the Orgon Coast. In my opinion the best places to ride are either Coos Bay, You can camp at horsefalls campground, it is a state camp ground, or Oregon Dunes KOA. You can also ride at winchester Bay. It is basicly all sand camping there. Just head to the oregon coast and have some fun.

 

Head for St. Anthonys in Idaho, by Rexburg. Then shoot down I-15 to Jericho (utah) and then down to glamis

 

Waynoka Oklahoma.......ride Little Sahara, there are a bunch of web sites on it
