hey guys, and girls,
when i heard about what diane sawyer stated about atv's and the speeds she stated they reached, i was also a little upset over the ignorance of such dribble. i emailed abc to tell them, politly, about my concerns over the show. well, i just recieved an email from abc, stating that my email was given to the producer of that show.

so, maybe a retraction about the nonsence that was stated can be given. this may help to keep the atv industry from fastly becoming the outlaw bikers of the 60's, lol.
i am going to try to copy and paiste this on this sight. never done it before, so wish me luck, lol!

After watching your show with Dianne Sawyer, i was shocked at the
misleadings of atv's( all terain vehicles). Any stock atv can only reach
speeds topping 70 mph. these atv's that reach that speed are set up as
full out racers, and not for the average rider. most atv's only hit
speeds in the high 50's to low 60's. I am shocked that your research
department did not look into this, and took the word of an admitted drug
user, with little safty or rider ability.
the atv community is a family based sport, and does not need such
dribble to harm our sport, or MY family's weekends!
We, as family riders wear helets, riding gear, and are well schooled in
the sport.
take up a ride, join in a group, or at least film an event, before you
spew such nonsence!
I, for one, would hope a caring retraction could be made about your
ignorance twards a sport millions love!

I would put money on it that the producer never sees our letters.

I was personally hoping for ATVers to become the outlaw bikers of the 60s... lol. I figured chicks would dig it.

I ride on a 4 wheeler at over 150mph an hour while listening to Ozzy's "Bark at The Moon" really loud with no helmet on and a head full of acid. ATVs ruin the environment and mine is really loud. I run over bunnies with mine and tear up flower beds.

Instead now they're gonna think i'm some ***** that's too scared to ride on 2 wheels. Oh well, that's it. I think it's time to drop this 4 wheeler stuff.
