RAPTOR SHIPPING?
#11
Although I would assume the allocation is 4 units till the end of the year, meaning until dec 31. But you should hope that it is not all of the allocation for 2001 because thats a long time to stretch 4 units. Im fairly sure dealers only get 2 major order periods a year but Units are set to arrive in Quarterly shipments. Also dealer markup is significant over Cost, even greater than markup on cars and trucks.

Yes, I should have stated that. That is, he is allotted 4 Raptors this year.
By quarterly shipments, do you think that means that there will be "units" (more than 1?) delivered prior to the 4th quarter, and then some more in the 4th quarter starting in October?
Put simple.... Should I expect to get mine before October?

It states a sept/oct release date on the raptor spec page on the yamaha site
but the dealers I have talked to said that they were told that they should start getting some in aug..... I hope so
Did anyone find out anything about ext warranty, and are any of you gonna get it if its available?
A bit off the subject but what kind of paddles is everyone gonna use (those who ride sand ) on this machine. I was thinking about 10 paddle haulers..
