I have a deposit on one also. It would be nice if it comes in the first week of August. I had to wait on the 400ex also. I hate waiting on something I want now!

I have a large deposit down on a Raptor also, and the dealer here in AZ says Mid August. The wait is killing me!

'96 Warrior for sale, 2001 B&W Raptor on order.

The dealer we use also sales Yamaha. He is expecting Raptors to arrive mid to late August.

The wait is almost over!

My dealer told me mine should be in August 17th. I can't wait the suspense is killing me, especially since i have nothing to ride because i sold my LT250R so i would have enough money to pay cash for my new raptor. I paid $6823.95 out the door for mine. How much did all of you guys pay?

Just out of curiousity, what do you think that the dealer cost on a Raptor is?

Someone said that the Banshees were selling for around $4500 in AR. so I'm guess that they have a fairly large markup on all of them, but could be wrong.

Well I just put a deposit down on one here in Oregon.... I had to call all over the state... finally found one that only had 4 people ahead of me. I was told to expect it in Sept... all the other dealers who had 10+ reserved all ready told me it would be into next year no good.... not at all. I wish I could get mine in August... but good things come to those who wait..... hehe... anyways it is going to be $6748 otd... I asked about warranty info... and no one new what the warranty would run.... I think that on a new machine like this it would be a good idea to pay for a extended warranty.... anyone of you guys find out any info on that???

anyways can't wait!

My dealer is getting 4, 2 blue and 2 white. I've got the 2nd white one and am the 3rd person to put money down on one leaving one yet to be reserved.

I was just wondering how it usually works. Will my dealer get his 3rd and 4th Raptors about the same time that other dealers get there 3rd and 4th quads? or would it be more like my dealer gets his last 2 raptors for the year about the same time that larger dealers get their last 2 raptors for the year?

Maybe that was a confusing question. Put simple, is it likely that Yamaha will give each dealer one or two Raptors and then start with second round of giving one or two until they fill up each dealer allotment?
