Yes, but only if he's had enough experience. My neighbor is only 13 but has a sweet Raptor, and can handle it better than most adults. But be careful and start off slowly.

 

if he knows what hes doing. too many ppl buy there kids raptors and huge quads and the kid has never even riden an automatic before. then the parents sue. but if they know what they are doing then its ok.

 

I got my raptor when I was 13 and handled it fine. I have been riding since I was 5 though. I have since moved on to bigger and badder toys. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I definetly think a 13/14 year old could, if they have enough sense and maturity.

 

Most 13 year olds could not, but there are select few that possess the status "the one". Basically, you have to see him ride to know his level of ability. If he can manhandle the one he has, I'm sure he could gradually upgrade to the raptor. Use the governor for a while until you think he's ready.....my2cents

 

Do you trust him enough to let him go off on his own with a handgun? if you dont then hes probably not mature enough to handle a machine that can kill him or somone else just as quickly.

 

YES YES and YES ive seen 12-year olds with raptors modded up and everything!!!!!!!! If your a good parent you will get your som a trick raptor lol and you can ride it too!!!!!!i am 15 and i bought myself a nice rappy

 

I'm with deltadawg when it comes to young kids and hi-po quads.

 

In general I would say NO.
However it very much depends on the rider.
Would you let the same 13 year old borrow your streetbike? Your car?
Can you picture the same rider at 70mph on a Ninja?
A raptor is fast and would require the same level of responsibility to operate safely.
The 13 year old may have the skill to operate the raptor on the track but maybe not the judgment to be left unsupervised.
My son rides a Blaster when we go riding but I wouldn't let him take it out on his own because he makes bad decisions.
You are gonna have to make the responsibility judgment call.
