Everybody is so right about the difference in this bike after pipe, K&N and soon to be even better when I jet. My plan was to do it all on Saturday, made it through the aluminum gyt-r pipe and pro-flow k&n kit and took it out for a ride. Holy crap, I still can't believe the difference. Loud and power pulling the thing right out from under me. So, took it back into garage for jet kit and final touches - at this point I'm practically shaking at the excitement of what the jetting and pulling the air box lid will do to finish the package. I pull the carb out and go to get the screws out and D'OH!!!, two of the stupid screws stripped. I am a complete idiot for not using an impact driver, but now the shop is getting the screws out and getting me some new screws, have it back in a couple of days. Yay, then I can finish it up and terrorize my neighbors as I disappear into the woods above my house. Man, I hate having my bike apart like this, just so unnerving!!!

No need to remove the carb or the bowl. You can loosen the clamps on the carb and then remove the screw from the gas tank. Turn the tank sideways and tilt the carb to the right side. You can now get the needle from the top. Then, just remove the large 17MM bolt on the bottom of the carb for access to the main and pilot. Should take less than 15 min. for a complete rejet.

you don't need to remove the float bowl or float bowl screws to change the jetting.. just remove the large bolt in the center of the float bowl for access to the pilot and main jet.
Do not Ride it anymore until you re-jet..your very lean with stock jetting and any mods you have done.
