Default Have to use starter fluid?

Ever since I put my new pistons, head, and reeds in this winter. I have to use starter fluid to get it started the first time of the day but once I get it started . I don't have to do it again until the next day. Was wondering if anyone could tell me why or what I need to check/fix, off the top of there head. Any help would be appericated! Thanks!

I'm not a banshee person, but lean jetting can cause hard starting when cold.

Or maybe the valves need adjusting.LOL

Starting fluid can blow a hole in a piston, rare but has happened. I'd guess your pilot circuit is screwed up.

just a fyi, i read on a snomobile forum that it is better to use wd-40 instead of starting fluid with a 2 stroke, you guys ever hear anything like this, but it sounds like you have a carb situation

I would check for a air leak around the reed cages. You are lean on the pilot jet if no leak.

HAve you checked compression? you need to be at least 110 PSI . start there then check to make sure your reeds are laying flat on the cage with a maximum of .008 gap if your good there then go into the carb's Might not hurt to put in a new set of plugs
GOOD LUCK

Sounds lean to me also. But all or some of the above could be correct.
