what kind of rod are you guys running?
are you running stock carbs?
if you are running an aftermarket rod, did you get the crank balanced with the new rod?
how bad is it to run an aftermarket rod without balancing the crank?/

thanks

Ahmed

ROD=carillo

CARBS=Lectron

Sent to falicon for balancing...

and you would never want to run a unbalanced rod,probabley the worst you can do,a whole mess of problems arise fro it being out of balance..

Rod - B&W Industries
Crank Work - Falicon
Carb's - Modified Stockers(switching to FCR's sometime in summer)

With a 686, you don't have to change the rod, and balence the crank but it's a good idea. It's definetly something you should consider to give you piece at mind.

With a 727, it's a must. No question. Aftermarket carb's, rod, and Falicon Crank Work.

Contact Bob Craycraft. He carries the B&W Rod's. He also has a titanium rod...although it is very very pricey.
