Default 250 Blaster

I am buying a 250 blaster, 1993. it has been fixed up, has a new air filter, handle bars and some other things i dont remember but i will post back later once i find out all the stuff. He is asking $1000 for it, what do u guys think, is it worth it, and is it reliable? I figure id ask the yamaha people. if i get it do you think is should extend the swing arm, a arms or anything else, please reply. Thanks

do you think is should extend the swing arm on it because im afraid of it fliping back on its self especially with the 250 engine.
