Wyo Rider,
One of the ways it will help is that being made from aluminum with a curved intake, it provides much more airflow over the stock plastic "intake". It is much smoother as well. When I bought my 99, the foam rubber was already torn from the plastic and curling up into the intake, which did let in some sand, but not enough that I needed a rebuild, but enough to convince me to get the Pro Flow! Anyhow, Wyorider, Ill see you tomorrow at the dunes!!!

I thought I would try the new setup without re-jetting and haven't had any problems. But then again, I always felt it ran a little rich before installing the Pro Design kit w/ foam filter.
