WARRIOR FUEL TANK PROBLEM

WHEN I PUT FUEL LEVER ON RESERVE QUAD DIES,MY GUESS IS BAD RESERVE GAS ?? WILL REMOVING FUEL LINE AND DRAINING REMOVE ALL GAS OR DO I HAVE TO TAKE TANK OFF. ONCE IT IS PUT IN RESERVE IT IS VERY VERY DIFFICULT TO START. 1997 WARRIOR.

You can drain the fuel, but not for the reason you think. It would be to allow you to remove the petcock & inspect the operation of IT when turned to reserve. It sounds like it is plugged & not allowing fuel to flow from that setting. The reserve setting is not a separate fuel supply..it merely is a divided portion of the tank that holds a small portion of the fuel in the tank. When the fuel in the "run " side of the tank drops below this divider you simply switch to reserve. In normal riding the fuel sloshes back & forth over the top of this divider so it is all the same fuel.

By the way..please lose the caps.. IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE YELLING AT US!
