Default Warrior won't go in reverse with engine running!

My 87 Warrior delevoped a problem. I cannot shift from reverse into forward with the engine running.....as soon as I shut off engine it slips right out of reverse.

Anybody got any idea why it does that>>>????

Turn your idle speed down, that may be it.

I'm with these guys .. turn down your idle speed a bit, and check your clutch adjustment. My friend's 2001 Warrior has a similar problem with reverse, but he's got a lot of free clutch play going on .. have to get it adjusted for him ...

Also check your oil level .. that can have a drastic effect on transmission workings .. if your fluid is low, or if it's bad (i.e. hasn't been changed for ages) then it could cause some troubles ..

Good luck with it!
