I have not yet to see any 240cc Blaster but I highly doute it beating either one of my machines even though they are stock. Wanaply21, The Shee won't beat the Raptor in a 300 on dirt but on pavement there neck and neck. The Blaster won't come close though

 

Im not trying to be mean, but ive seen it with my own eyes many many times. The blaster was my first bike, and im very familiar with the 240 kit, cause my best friend had one before he moved up to his Raptor. It will NOT beat Raptors and banshees, at the drag strip dont even try, there there every day, and some tricked out to hell by Trenga. None of them are very fortunate with the Raptors and Banshees, but on some occasions to beat 400ex's.

 

i agree... there is no way a 240 blaster will beat a shee. or a raptor...

 

There's a guy I heard of who had a Hollywood Dirt PD#3 port job with all the goodies that was making stock banshee's look knda crappy off the line, he also said he didn't have a problem keeping up with piped shee's, I would recon to say a PROPERLY set up ported 240 with some more internal goodies would take a banshee for a good run, but since banshee are high rpm engines, they would take the cake in the long run, but this is also comparing apple to oranges.

 

I cant see a 240blaster taking a Banshee,
There is just no way, i mean 350twin, virse a 240single,
It may be quicker, but i mean look at all the $$$$ you have to sink into it, to KeeP
Up with a STOCK banshee, and then after all that work you do, your buddy just puts
a set of pipe on and YOUR DONE

 

oh its been done, I've seen it, but like I said apples to oranges, the blaster will get the banshee down low, but don't forget, the banshee can rev faster and higher, but it has been done, just cuz you haven't seen it, doesn't mean it can't happen, cuz I know of a few guys that have blasters tearing up stock shee's, and they only have about a grand in the engine.

 

Buy a yz490 2 storke and it will bold on a blaster and you wont have any trouble smoking banshees and raptors

I have seen some little kid probably around 14 on a 240 Blaster at Haspin Acres. He was beating down stock Raptors, Banshees, Predators, 400EXs, Z400s, and a totally stock DS650 but barely. I'm sad to say but, he got me by almost 3 quad legnths at the end of the strip. That little thing was FAST, very fast. He even took some dood on a YZ400F till the guy on the YZ figured out that he was getting beat then barely passed him before the end. You can't really compare a totally stock motor against a full race motor no matter the cc's. If you have ever ridden one of those little 65cc dirt bikes with stuff done to them you will know what I am talking about. It is very hard to believe but, it is true.

 

before I put the 360 engine in my blaster I beat stock ex's up comp hill at sand mountain, and was right behind the stock shee's, raptors, predetors,Z-400's (ect), and occasionally beat them. can't wait till easter to find out what the 360 engine will do. see you at the top!!!
