Amplink?
#2
There have been many posts on the Amplink....The general Idea is to get the power delivered to the rear wheels in a more linear fashion. Thus, eliminating the power robbing chain lash that is present with the stock rollers.
In my opinion...Not worth the trouble,,,it's costly. And I had bad luck with it on my banshee.
A warrior might handle the mod a bit better. But it was costly for replacement bearings.
Many people like it....many don't...If you have money to spend, give it a try....But I don't think you will see a huge difference in holeshots. Maybe....But for me...thats yet to be seen.If you want faster holeshots...drop a tooth on the front sprocket...But you will loose a bit on top.
good luck

Don't waste your effort! It doesn't do a damn thing except break all the time. Mine cost me a trashed out countershaft bearing and worn out chains & sprockets, as nothing lined up. Didn't find out until too late. It also makes the drive system extremely noisy. What a joke. Undoubtedly the biggest waste of money in existance. Ever wonder why you don't see any of the racer's use them???
