you guys that think your quads are so fast.. just take them to the next local or regional MX race or GNCC race..


Than take a pic of yourself next to your trophy for the event and post it here! That is if your quad is all that fast..

Just past sunday I've race
-1 predator (stock)
-1 banshee (stock)
-1 banshee (FMF pipe and filter)
-1 raptor (GYTR slip on)
-1 YFZ (stock)
-1 baja X(stock)

The only one who can follow me was the piped banshee(we were even almost every time)
We were on dirty asphalt for about 1000 feet.
For the YFZ he jumped me on the start for about 1 lenght the i go past him and finish about 3 bike lenght.

And dont talk about riding skill he ride for about twice has long has me.
We are about the same weight.

I know that when he got himself a pipe he will surely beat me but then I will add Hi comp piston and a stage 2 cam and I will smoke him again....

Your Raptor is going to be awesome. Definetly going to be interesting to see some video's of how fast it really is.

 

there should be an event to get all like 1000 or so of us together at 1 location, with all our quads, and just have a huge a$$ race!

 

There is, its called four stroke wars. The problem is that its at glamis and only a very small percentage of us can make it out that way.

 

Hey man, not saying that that didnt happen, but I do have both machines, I love them both for different reasons and my yfz, from the day i brought it home, has always been faster then my raptor, except for out and out topspeed. All that I had to do to beat the raptors topspeed was remove the baffle.
now my yfz has a full titanium exhaust, proflow intake w/ k&n, jetted perfect and has the yz cam back in it, and I have yet to find a raptor that wil beat me. YES, Im sure a 727 or a turbo'd raptor is out there somewhere that would beat me in a straight line, but you know what, I'll always be faster in a corner, and whoop section, any track or c/c race.
I love my raptor, but it will never beable to do things that my yfz can. It has its own nitch in the woods and trails.

 

Actually if he just got the quad it wasn't even broken it yet.
