sounds to me like it is time to replace the gasket. You said that it was coming from the lower part. I assume you are talking about the cylinder, not the head. This may not be a bad time to buy the gaskets from Vito's. Their head gasket is thinner which raises compression. cheaper than getting the head shaved and you can always go back stock.
