Default Starting problem on Rappy

I think you just put it in differently, I really dont remember. It was obvious what needed to be done when I put it in. It wont be any cutting or splicing or anything like that.

Default Starting problem on Rappy

I had a problem similar to this to my DS. Does the Raptor have some sort of voltage regulator?

Default Starting problem on Rappy

Mr45: I just noticed that you said a YTX14 is the stock battery...well...I was sold a CTX14-BS, whats the difference? I noticed on that page they are listed as the same. It says they are economical alternatives to OEM replacements, I don't think this is what I really wanted...

YTX is a Yuasa battery, I've never heard of CTX. In any case the YTX20L-BS is significantly larger than the 14 it replaced. It just barely fits and has plenty of cranking power.

I got it working! I bought the bigger battery and you're right is it alot bigger, I had to take out that little foam piece to fit it in but it worked good! It still slows a little when it hits the compression stroke but it's much better than the stock one. As of now all my starting problems are taken care of! YAY!! Thanks a bunch guys for your help, it's very appriciated!
