Wolverine is a great bike I was happy when it was stock and am happy times two now that i did the pipe/jet and warn424 select. It will do everything and it goes better in the mud if you run different tires but those will do just fine unless your going for sticky icky above tire depth mudholes that can suck almost any quad in. I highly reccomend the warn 424 select. it lets you powerslide and do donuts like a 2x4 but still climb hills and tow like a 4x4 cause thats what it is. the power is fine stock if down the road your feeling a bit bored with it throw on an FMF megamax, jet, filter, and cut a few holes in the airbox and you will awaken a beast you didnt even know existed. Nice growl too. Remember the first thing to get for it will be skidplates and CV guards. I reccomend the highlifter skidplate its a wonderful product and i;ve been happy with my Oxlite CV boot guards. Dont get the kevlar ones from yamaha they arent worth what they charge

I took a 99' wolvy for a ride last week, all stock, I'm 190lbs and didn't have any trouble getting the front wheels up at all. I didn't ride it out because it was at a dealer, but it felt like it could to me. That was on gravel.
