yea... i was loading it in my truck and the ramps went flying out from under the rear tires and me and the quad kind fell out of the back of my truck..... so i bent the bar up alot... and then from goin back too far on wheelies it finally broke off completely. hmmmmm oh well..... just gives me reason to put more aluminum parts on....... lighter and stronger

 

The only time I see coppers is when I hafta follow the road to get from trail to trail. In Maine you're allowed 300 feet, which isn't too bad, but its never far enough. During the winter when we're out on lakes, we ride the quads right up Main st in Lincoln to go to Irvings for gas, but every now and then the cocky young cop will try giving us **** about it, but we say "Hey, if a snowsled can, why can't we? We're on the trail". Once we're back on the lake we frig around and make noise so people complain, but the cops can't do anything as long as we stay on the lake. Plus it helps my mother makes out their paychecks so they all know me and almost always give me a break-'cept for the pr!ck that always got beat up in school.

And every game warden I ever run into just plain sucks. One tried to say my cousin stole the TBlazer I sold him and he was going to jail because my name was still on the registration, and he wouldn't calm down enough to let me explain that it was sold to him just a few days before.

We'll humor the cops when they stop us, but F$%K the Game Wardens-we're gone!!

 

last week in Plymouth MA. i had a 300lb Environmental cop Jump out of a bush swinging a night stick at me. he had a buddy and they both grabbed me. i literally had to let go of the bars with one hand to avoid taking a blow from his stick. i gave him no reason for this treatment of a civil infraction. we were merely tresspassing on some powerlines that are known for riding. even after this treatment i was polite. apologizing...explaining i'm from out of state and visiting and was unaware. (no signs posted) my registration has a NH logo. they varified my info and gave me and my buddies a $250 ticket each.

after i got the ticket...i then question the use of the stick. His explanation was that he's been hit by quads who ever taken off. so let me get this straight...You jump out of a bush dressed in an all green uniform, infront of moving quads....and you've been hit? well....no S einstein!

i swear on my mothers eyes...next time...i will be the guy who keeps going. That $250 ticket was insult to injury. what if that was my wife? she might have freaked out and blipped the throttle and gone straight over him....or a kid may have gotten scared and swirved and hit a tree. anyways, i'm done trying to talk with these tree natzi's. they can explain it to my 20" Razor2's...because thats what there gonna get...i'm F'n done. all that...and it's not even criminal...it's a civil infraction!!

my next post on this subject...will be the ranger i used for a jump to clear his over his buddy. I'm a fairly rational guy and for those of you in law enforcement...i apologize in advance...but it's instances like this that change good people to runners. if i'm gonna get treated like s and have to absorb a fine too. then why should i stop? Nope...you guys are gonna have to earn your $$ on old Kuzy next time. i brake for no pig out on the trails starting today!

BECAUSE IT'S FUN!!! I live out on an island on in Alaska and we have dirt rodes and everybody rides four-wheelers on the roads. The only reason we get chased is for staying out late on the roads with a loud pipe and speeding. I'm only 15 and I've been chase a crap load of time. It's a big adrenaline rush!

 

Sounds like BS. Guys like that are the bad seeds. They work for pennies because they can harass people and people still kiss their a$$. It's an ego trip. He would not have had that stick unless he had potential too use it. Guys like that are usually a bigger outlaw than the people they are harassing as well. My $.02

ya we had quite the warden problem down here this past winter also... they always gotta be asses...

 

game warden rides up in the fire roads by my house up in the games lands i have been "chased" a coupple of times

i got caught at the bottom of my driveway,
i went down and i see a game warden passed i watch him slam on his brakes and start up my driveway i knew i hadnt done anything wrong so i stopped and accused me that i was allowed to ride on my private! driveway, then he said well anyway you should be riding this you have to be 16 (im 14) and i told him off about how if you are on your own land you are allowed to but he finally got me becausei didnt have my license plate mounted and i kept on talking back to him so he finally went up to my house and started talking to mom and he tried to tell her the same **** and then my mom told him that i was allowed and he just gave me a warning and left


another time i was riding on what i tohught was game lands but i was soon to find out that it was owned by a mean old man with a 12 gauge shotgun[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] i didnt talk back to him
