What are the differences between x-ring and o-rings chains?

I got all new sprockets and chain at the same time, and I lube it after every ride. I'll make sure its adjusted correctly before I ride too. But after a couple hours its so loose that it slips when I'm really getting on it. It is possible that its from the suspension compressing because my rear shock is way too soft after the +4 swingarm, I really need to get a new one or get get it revalved.
That is a possiblity.
Also make sure you are checking the chain with somebody your weight sitting on the bike.

The shape of the plstic ring that retains the grease is the differance between "X" and "O" ring chains. The o rings are "O" shaped and the "X" rings are still in a circle around the roller, but it cut it in half and looked at a cross section it would be in an "X" shape. Supposedly it helps retain the lube in better.

Farmstud (I feel odd posting your name BTW), when I put my +4 on I had too increase rear shock preload drastically too get the proper sag. I probably have less than 10% of preload adjustment left. Rear shock works fine for me and the chain is not wearing at a accelerated rate.
