This jetting was done on a dyno and set for best performance so if you jet your carbs close to this it should give you a good starting point! Good luck to you! I know another 686 Raptor that tried to mix DJ and Mikuni. His quad was tuned on a dyno also. His engine didn't last very long.

It didn't last long cause most dumba$$es that do dyno jetting jet it lean cause that makes the most power your friends an idiot for not jetting up after he had the work done. My bike runs litterally perfect, no chokes or cut outs and it starts without any problem (don't even gotta use the choke) That dyno did wonders! I'm runnin completly stock carbs and not running lean if that says anything. You just have to take the time and do it right, I know its possible to jet stock carbs properly to work on a 686...my bike is proof. Also usually if a bike blows because of jetting it really wasn't jetted good at all...he might wanna talk to those people who did dyno.

WHAT AFFECT DOES PORTING HAVE? MY PORTING IS PROBABLY DIFFERENT. HE OPENED THAT TRANSFER PORT WAY UP AND IT FLOWS ALOT.
