How many teeth are on the stock yfz-450 front sprocket?

Thats what i thought it was. I woner how much top end i will lose if i go to a 13tooth?

 

gear it down!??!?! alot of people that i hear from are going up... its spins alot and with a pipe and stuff a 15 tooth wouldnt be bad...

 

Im going to 13 for woods.

 

I am gonna test a 13 tooth and a 15 tooth and see what one i like better.

 

I went from a 13 to a 12 on my blaster. I lost alot of top end speed but the amount of bottom end that you gain is enough to make you forget about the top end loss, its awsome

 

When i had my mojave, i went from 13 to 12 and it was not a whole lot slower, but noticable, BUT MAN, the bottom end you gain is crazy

 

are you having problems with your 14? or do you just want to try something different...
if you want more bottom end... go with the 13... if you spin too much and are always in a high gear and want to be lower.... try the 15...
