hey all u people that know a lil bout a tri-z, i would like to know a lil about these things. Are they very fast???how fast??are they good mechincal wise?? just plz tell me a lil bout them thx everyone

 

I bought one not running, thinking I would fix it up couldn't find hardly any parts for the damn thing. Sold it first chance I had.

yeah, my neighbors had one, they were allways getting into trouble, and one day, i was standing out in my yard, and i heard thi 2 stroke/siren kinda sound, and before i knew it, i saw my one neighbor come around the corner of the one road, that ends into mine, being chaced by one of the town's finest. He did outrun the police cruiser long enough to get to the trails on the other section of our road, and got away. if you ask me, they are pretty quick, for what they are

 

they are fast. like aroudn 60-70mph.. they were yamahas 250cc 2stoke atv.. like the honda ATC250r and trx250r that motor comparison.. so they are fast.. not sure.. one was in my local paper awhile back.. should of bought but o well

 

exactly...there were Yamahas version of the atc250....i think the tri-z 350s use the same rear shock as a warrior....or it may be tri z 250

they were damn quick and would beat most stock quads built today because it weighed so much less then everthing built today. the gas tank was under the seat so it had to use a fuel pump to get the gas to the carb. If the tri z doesnt start this would be the first thing that I would check. the 86 models had a better rear suspension and had a 6 speed manual compared to the five speed manual in 85.
