Default Startor rebuildable?

Are the startors rebuildable? i mean i know they, but is it worth it... ive got a new one and it works great and the old one i think that only thing wrong with it is the bearings would it be worth the time and money to fix it and resell it on ebay or soemthing? i would hate to see that thing go to waste im sure there is someone out there that needs a startor and doesnt have much cash??

Default Startor rebuildable?

depends if they sell a brush kit for it, the windings usually arent unless you want to spend more than what a new one costs. There is a starter motor brush rebuild on www.raptortranny.com
