I got a twist grip with my new carb setup and rode with it for the first time today. I have ridden dirtbikes all my life but a twist grip on a quad just doesnt feel right. I hate it and I am getting a thumb throttle ASAP.

Buddy has one on his banshee. I like it. I think if you have ridden a motorcycle you will be ok with it.

Buddy has one on his 650 kawi.,took him awhile to get used to it,still tricky in the hoops and hollows, said he couldn't let anyone drive it now cause he figures its too dangerous.

Much better throttle control. No cramped thumb joints from riding in the cold weather or hours on end.

woah baby! thumb throttle! it blows, like, going around turns, or when your crossing a creek like my buddy on his lt250r, yeah, his front came up, he wrapped the throttle, and the thing just shot right into a tree, flipped around, and landed on its wheels(yeah, sounds kinda fake, but it happened) luckily he was alright, but he's all about the thumb throttle.

i guess your friend never rode bikes! i'm putting one on my lt. i've only raced bikes, but decieded to try quads this season (if i can get it finished) and i am going to put a twist throttle on. it has to be easier cornering and overall motos. i see where whoops could be hard, but people do it with a bike so it can be done? travis spader uses one...??? can't be that bad.
