grizzly brakes

The front disc do just fine, but the so-called rear sealed drum just don't do it. If ya ride in mud or deep water your rear brakes are gonna fade fast, to the point of no back brakes until ya tear it down and clean them. This is really no big deal to do but is something that has to be done. I am seriosly think'n of converting mine to disc. Getting back to the subject at hand the grizz is not gonna stop on a dime, its just to much machine and not enough brake.

in the april dirt wheel's they had a 730 grizz that they had put rear disc brakes on they said that they used a warrior brake system. i have thought about calling the people who did that project.if anyone has done this they should let us all in on how they did it and what it would cost.

Thats a good Idea. I also read that article and thought it would be nice to get rid of that so-called-sealed drum. I had my Grizzly for about 2 weeks and casually rode through a few creeks and when I got home my Drums were smoking and sizzling. They got so hot that it melted that rubber ring around the drum. I took it to the dealer for the service and he looked at them and said they were fine. I don't know. I sure would like to have a rear disk though.
