you wanna go fast? Buy a predator. Then you will be hauling @$$ chasing the guy that sold it to you so you can whoop his butt. What is the top recorded (witnessed) speed of any quad? I know there was a poor guy that got up to 98mph and hit ice and lost it. He is still in a wheel chair last I heard. I am getting a Grizz for me and a Bruin for the wife. Maybe an '03 Rap for fun. I would say takin' off the front brakes is pretty silly.
You could do many other cool mods that would be alot safer.

I got lucky those 2 trips and not everyone is a good rider like me.10lbs dosent win you a race a brain and a fast bike wins races. you can drop 10 pounds other ways.No front brakes is scarry and dangerous as hell, leave them on, not for me but the guy in front of you. Thats my advice.
Very good advice. Think of the kid you might kill, and his dad when he stomps your guts out for taking your brakes off and not being able to stop when you should have.

If some dad lets his kid walk out onto the drag strip in front of me and I hit him, then it would be the dad who is at fault, not I.

Everything has its place. Use your best judgement to determine this place.
