i just purchased a 01 grizz 600 and had it out last weekend and wide open in runs 35mph. Seems super slow for the machine. I took apart the primary clutch and found about 3lbs of grease in the clutch and flat spots on the weights. i cleaned everything and am debating wether to put it back together with fresh grease or just replace the weights while im already in there?? any advice would be apreceated. im a college student going for auto tech so i have a good background with workin on cars. just new to the atv world.

I rode with a 600 Grizzly they do "over" 55mph no problem. 50-52 mph a 450 grizzly can hit that.
He was neck and neck with me down a wide, smooth, straight and flat gravel road and I know I can hit over 55mph. A 420 Rancher and 500 Foreman could not keep up that were with us and those do over 50 mph easily.

My 350 Grizzly can hit a little over 45 mph. A 600 better get over 55. LOL
