Default blaster vs. warior

About what I figured, the warrior's mids and lows are killer when modded. The Edelbrock and yoshi combo gave me the jump off the line. You should see what that carb can do once it's tuned right and the accelerator pump is adjusted perfectly. The front end came up nice without even dropping the clutch with 14/40 gearing (2.86), but I wanted a bit more zip for the woods so I'm currently installing a 42 tooth rear to bring it back to 3.00. The 13/40 in stock form was way too low for my weight.

im not tryin to talk smack or nething... no hard feelins, but that carb wont be completely woken up until u get port work, BTW is the carb bigger than the stock, i aint tryin to bag on warriors i think there fun as hell, and i never said anything about woods u can only test the true power of a quad is by a drag race IMO

Boxhead,
Yeah when I raced that warrior then I did have a 12 in the front which gave me alot more bottom end. I had that warrior pretty good but I must admit that if the race had been longer then the warrior would have scooted right by me because with my gearing it revs out much faster.

Trust me it was, the stock carb sucked. I think the accelerator pump made the biggest difference (response), but I still got at least 3 to 4 horse in power, it was definately beyond noticeable. Go buy a warrior and the carb and see the difference if you don't believe me. Ooops, forgot your PARENTS won't give you any money, HA HA HA HA!

Take an easy kid, your gonna hear a lot worse jokes than that when you get into a career and deal with even worse crap than that from people you see every day. You probably should have invested that money in suspension, you'll need it with those engine mods. Remember that on the track you better not lose focus by having a tantrum like that, it'll cost you big time. People with a stress factor that great just cause problems. If your parents are buying all that stuff you better work your a$$ off for them after spending that much. I sure as hell had to work my a$$ off for my stuff.
