lol his quad is fine remember its a sport quad.. Does it affect it above 5 mph at all? and if you want it to stop backfiring like that at slow rpms do what RAPTORAZ said ----->
Turning out the pilot screws 1/4 turn a piece will probably take that away.

I've got an 03' Raptor and just put a jet kit in and K&N filter w/Proflow, the gearing is down one tooth on the front and rear. I just got back from California and did some riding up at ForrestHill up in the hills, the gearing seemed to work awsome. I was never on the throttel too much and never road the clutch and always had enough power to the wheels to pull through the trails. If you know this place or have ever ridden there utility quads are more popular for these trails, but my raptor worked just fine.
I was also up in Oregon at Horsfalls a week befor with the same gearing, I might have lost some top end but I could still pull up all the sand hills.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
