Default Please help me choose a quad.

Honda has used drum brakes forever and they do stop fine. They are a poor design for longevity though. If you ride in mud or water the drum brakes will fill up with water. The muddy water causes them to rust and corrode. The drum brakes on hondas are just plain stupid. If you ever work on one that has been ridden in muddy conditions you will agree.

I'm not knocking hondas in general, (I 've had several...see my signature) but the utility drum brake setup should have been replaced with discs years ago. Also, if you are not going to be riding in muddy, wet conditions then it's not an issue. But who doesn't ride an ATV in muddy and wet conditions?
