What does FLIP REAR LINKAGE mean and can it be done by myself... What do Lowering kits cost and are they hard to install? Thanks Maddog, You are really appreciated... I really don't care about speed cause I know that my raptor has enough but I want to be able to handle my raptor like it is my BITCH!! But again, THANKS!!

i would practice in a field and learn how to ride around on wheelies and the side 2 wheels then build a little jump and practice hitting that then go to your local tracks and start small and work your way up i too must learn to handle my rappy again due to a fracture in the wrist and mods do indeed help alot

Lowering kits run about 65 bucks and you can get them from cfm performance or durablue. Durablue is top mounted and requires removing the lights. CFM is bottom mounted and creates a very odd and undesirable shock angle. Take your pick, but whatever you do, dont try to catch any air with these things on.

Flipping the rear linkage:
The rear shock comes out under the frame and bolts up to linkage which in turn bolts up to the swingarm. Flip this over and You will lower the bike a couple inches.

By flipping the linkage, will this make it too weak for jumping or rougher tracks?

It doesnt lower ground clearance. You wont want to be jumping any higher than you would with a lowering kit though. Just a few feet.

If you can't handle it now I wouldn't plan on doing those "future mods" anytime soon.
