Default Fixing to go pick up a WARRIOR

Well In the paper this morning I picked it up and started reading the atv section there were not any good
buys on anything so when I looked in the yamaha dirtbike section somebody misplaced an ad and the ad
said 1990 Yamaha Warrior / bored .30 over / good condition 600.00

So I called the guy and he said the only thing wrong is the front brakes dosent work and the plastics are
scratched up a LITTLE. I got directions to his house and he said the he will get off work at 5:30 today.

So I am just sitting here on the forums waiting until 5:30 to go get my quad, man I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway when I get it Ill have 1400.00 to spend on parts I thought of getting

21 razor 2 up front 20 razor 2 out back
New blue plastics
Nerf bars
HMF slip on w/ K&N filter
Blood shot eyes headlight covers
16 tooth front sprocket

What about motor mods but I want it reliable?

16 tooth sprocket..........that thing should run 150mph then. Stock is 13. Seems a little radical. I switched to a 14 for a little while then went back to a 13 tooth.

Other than that, sounds like a heck of a deal, and a good list of mods.

My Warrior is for sell, but it sounds like Im too late.

Good luck with it.

Default Fixing to go pick up a WARRIOR

Well just got back with a warrior, I went to the mans house and he told me to ride it
so when I started riding it around I hit the throttle and could tell the thing was not
stock. So I asked him was there anything done to the motor and he said that it had a

Bored .30 over
Wiesco piston
Mikuni Carb
.450 cam
K&N Filter
14 tooth front/40 tooth rear

If I was to race my friends blaster which has .10 over bored/wiesco piston/ported/FMF PIPE AND SILENCER who would win on top end
