I'm trying to revive my Blaster from sitting a few years - wife, kids, etc. Now I'm getting back into it and having problem with keeping the thing running. I have to massage the throttle, sometimes it seems as if the throttle sticks causing high rev.

Running it in gear encounters a sputtering every so often. I have done basic troubleshooting but kinda stuck

Any ideas???
Thanks

Sounds to me the card gummed up from the bad gas. Remove the carb and then remove the bowl on the bottom. Then remove the 2 small jets. One is the main jet(bigger) the other is the pilot jet (smaller) Clean out the carb with carb cleaner and use a small strand f wire and clean out all the holes in the jets. Then drain the gas out and put new gas in the bike. This is what happend to most quads from sitting. The gas turns into a varnish.
