A Z28 will do 0-60 in around 5.5 sec. and, the 1/4 in 14.5sec @ around 100-105. I would say a Banshee has no chance!

 

A Stock Banshee or Stock Raptor will beat a 2002 Automatic Z28 Camaro in a 1/4. Even though the Camaro does it around 90 100 mph but the quads get to there top speed way faster.

 

He said a ported banshee. If its ported right it could be making over 70hp. If the race is only 0-60 like the title says, it would probably win.

 

 

0 to 60 a stock banshee should have no problem Power to weight ratio is in the banshees favor

 

I own a 98 Trans-Am WS6 6 speed which is the same as a camaro, just different bodies. I also own an 01 Raptor 686 12-1, stage 2 cam, pipe, ported and polished. My Raptor would probably win to 60 maybe even the 1/8 mile but would have no chance in the 1/4. And a stock raptor/banshee has absolutely no chance at any distance over 100 feet.
BTW My Trans-Am does 0-60 at 5.1 sec and the 1/4 at 13.14 at 106 mph. It is basicly stock.

 

me and My Buddy race all the time and there very close at 1/4 each taking wins, but then his is Automatic, if it was manual it would beat me

 

there is only a two or three tenth difference between the manual and automatic Camaros and trans ams.

 

what the hell is this, have you all fliped your lids..there is no way in hell a stock banshee or stock any quad is going to take a ls1 in the 1/4. stock ls1 run mid 13's at about 100 or so. it is going to take one hell of a quad to out run an ls1. A damn stock raptor or shee would be lucky to run 18's, they are going to be toped out by the 1/8 mile...and what the hell does it matter anyway??

 

My R runs a high 13 in the 1/4 and its about as fast as a nicely modded shee in a straight away so i would have to say its a close one.
