rear wheel for raptor
#1
I just got my new kenda klaws in 20x11x9 i was wanting to get some new wheels for it to make it wider . If i am right the stock wheels on the raptor is 9x8.5 . Sorry i am talking about the rear wheels and tires. I was looking in the rocky mountain magazine and i seen they had some 9x9 wheels in there . Is there wider ones you can get or is that the wides ones and is going from a 9x8.5 to a 9x9 going to make any diffents in wide.

I take it this is to make your stance a little wider for stability. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but it's not a wider rim that you want, it's a deeper one. I have a set of Sand Stars that came on wheels and they stick out way farther than my stock wheels but it's not because the rim is wider, it's because they're much deeper. I'm not sure what that's called, off-set maybe, but I hope it makes sense.

Yeah it's called offset and that's what you want, more offset. You'll probably have to order them. Check out the Douglas wheels web site and there's a place in there that explains the sizes and offsets so you can properly order what you want.

Just get some .190 (red label) 9x9s with as much offst as possible. Ive got 10x10s and they are offset too...gives it a nice look and a wider ride.
