OK I lied. But seriously , I just bought a Blaster for my crumb-grabbing kids. I'm wondering if they really have to be run on high octane gas like the dealer said.

omg i thought it was the kid again...they run on pump just fine. My friends ran low octane for 4 years, he sold the blaster but it ran fine all those years with it. I wouldn't think it would need high octane, it isnt a high compression engine. So no, just run 89 or whatever yer low octane is.

Well that would depend on what compression the head is set up for... If your running 160-165psi I would use a 50/50 mix of race fuel and pump premium.. If your any higher than 165psi then use straight race fuel... Your gonna have to do a compression check.. But if its a totally stock Blaster then your fine with the pump...
