my friends white bros e-series pipe broke at the welds were the pipe connects to the silencer. did this happen to ne one else? can he arc weld it back together??

 

 

if its steel, stainless or a few others then you can mig weld it, if its aluminium you could tig weld it, i did some welding on bigbearfx's wolverines silencer, seemed to turn out ok, but it was just stock, any ideas on what king of metal it is??

really, i guess it would be best to just give it a shot, if you don't what else are you going to do with it??

that happened to mine also, I just had a friend that was experienced with alum tig welding fix it. It worked great!

 

alpharaptor, i looked at caliraptors pic page and thats exactly how my friends looked. the only experiance i have is arc welding and brazing. could you braze it? so its alluminum? you suggest he takes it to the same guy who welded his alluminum oil tank?..(he snaped the end of it trying to drain his oil)

 

Anyone that has experience welding alum should be able to easily do it.
