I have heard about that happening in places where the plastic has been bent or stressed. The only fix I've heard of is using a heat gun on the white area, but be carefull not to melt it.

I was just told by guy at a Yamaha dealer that the Yamaha blue was "very suscepitible" to fading and if you don't store indoors to cover with a tarp or something else.

Hey Trailmen where did you get a blue Kodiak? My 01 Yamaha brochure only has red, camo, beige, and red. I'd love a blue one if they're available.

I've seen the blue Kodiak at the dealer here in Saint John, N.B. Canada.

Is this discoloring common with all colors (red & green)? I just put money down on a blue Kodiac but if there's a problem with fading maybe I should get the red or green. The blue Kodiac is pretty sharp looking. What do you guys think about the best color for wear and tear?

Here in Canada we can get different colours that the american people can't get.

Another thing different is that the kawasaki automatics are called KVF's here in Canada, I don't think the americans get them there.

Hey Trailmen,
Thanks for the reply, but delhi is a bit too far. I'm trying to find a dealer closer to Montreal. You should post a photo of that blue Kodiak for those of us interested.
Thanks, damguy
