hey raptoric, where in putnam do u ride? i live in patterson and mainly ride on the aboandoned rail road tracks but they are working on them now so i cant really ride there. do you know anywhere good to ride not to far away? thanks

we ride down in punam valley
we can go for miles on end across the tops of the mountains,the occassional quick road crossing but nothing
to bad.ever hear of the old campgrounds down by annsville circle?

For real wet riding and deep water crossings I would use an air box but a little mud and splashin would be alright especially if you used a water repellent outerwear.

and he has a pic of a pretty muddy rap
wondering if he was running it that way then?

Got my sixsixT adapter coming in the mail.I figure I will keep my airbox on hand in case I do any wet condition riding.

What are the advantages and disadvantages between the k&n and foam style filters?

Foam filters dust and small particals better but sand can work it's way thru the foam.
A K&N is better for sand and is easier to clean and oil.

I did go, but couldnt race....it was only for cars that were gonna race on sunday...sorta like time trials night. So I want to go next week before I buy my JTM extension. As soon as I go I will let you know how it goes....Ive got my time slips in the truck so I can compare right away...Im expecting maybe a.1-.2 decrease in time and 2-3mph more...with the extension Im sure I will launch a lot harder and will drop my times even more...man, speed is addictive.

Mine are bigger!!! j/k they are pretty large though, had to mod the plastics a little. After my dad got his made after 4SW2 by some aluminum fabricator I made my own. they work. chck the pics
