Stock Banshee = 386lbs.

 

You won't beat a pred with a stock shee.....I raced a piped shee, with my mods....and won by like 2 links(in sand).....but I may be a little better driver than he was too.....I don't see why you guys always hack on the pred, when you need to be hacking on the ds or especially the rappy.....the thing is with the 4 strokes, is that we have torque, which you do not. The banshee, with yes is only 350cc, but you have to remember that it is also 2 cylinders.....very good idea there. But like said before, they may be faster in drags, but the new yfz,450r, and pred will smoke them on the track....that is the NEW technology.

 

I agree that on the track the stock banshee suspension and frame wont have a chance against a pred. or yfz 450 they are just far superior in that area. Im just talking about dragging side by side, a banshee with just a few mods is very hard to touch in 300ft of for that matter 800ft.

 

I will say it again...For some reasons people think torque = low rpm power...Wrong!!!

Two strokes produce torque at a higher rpm but CC/CC they produce more of it than 4 strokes,there are 350cc Banshees outhere producing around 50lbs of torque, now show me a 350cc 4 strokes engine putting out that much torque.

 

unless you were on tar nick, i dont think you beat your buddys rappy...
4 strokes rule dirt drags, banshees cant hook up at all...
on tar is a different story... but even then it would probably be close between you and your buddy...

I don't know everything got so fast stock, because I haven't seen any all stock quads beat a shee that is piped with a k&n filter and jetted up. Espically if they were running CPI pipes, or Toomey T-5 or T-6's. Even the full FMF pipes give the banshee huge gains.
