And this is why I have a Yamaha. .

Two weeks ago my quad was rolled down a dirt road going about 55-60mph. It basically bounced end over end for about 30 feet and rolled I think about 8 or 9 times. All that was damaged was the handle bars and a few other minor things.
Yesterday, A buddy of mine was driving a 2002 400EX. He was just driving around slowly going down dirt road. I would say he was maybe going 10-15mph. His master link let go and locked the chain around the rear wheels and locked them up. The bike slid side ways and rolled 2 times before coming to a stop on its side. I was amazed at how much damage there was after a little accident like that. His front right rim was bent really bad and both his a-arms (upper and lower) were bent, the top one was actually broke right off. His steering stem was also bent like mine but alot worse. HIs front fenders were totally destroyed.
I just couldn't believe how my bike could survive somthing 10x worse and come out with less damage. I guess thats why I ride a Yamaha. . built to last.

I would say you got lucky. My friends dad was sand dragging his Banshee and it wheelied and came over backwards when he shifted into third gear. Broke the right rear fender off and bent the right side a arms. Surprising how much a little wreck can screw up. You mean to tell me your fenders, spindles, axle, or wheels were not messed up at all in your wreck?!

I agree totally .. just a fluke dude. Sure we're glad that you didn't suffer worse damage, or worse still .. get yourself killed going that speed and wiping out .. but rest assured, that's not the rule .. it's the exception ...

It wasn't me driving my bike. I had let a friend drive it and I probably shouldn't have.
Wallstreet, I have checked over my whole bike head to toe and can't find anything else wrong with it. The frame survived with only a few scratches in the paint, the a-arms and axle were fine, my +4 swingarm is fine, the wheel spacers didn't crack or anything and everyone of the fenders came out alive I know its a fluke but it's wierd how things like that happen, sometimes the slow accidents can be the worse.

My brother rolled my Banshee about 10 X end over end down a huge hill (Aptly name Widowmaker of course)
It flipped end over end until it slammed into a tree.
It busted the radiator, the radiator plastic, a headlight and bent the frame behind the radiator. Didn’t break the handlebars or the brake levers it was amazing.
We straightened it out with tie down straps and she’s good as new.
That is one tough machine, Yamaha should be proud.
I’m sure my Big Bear or My Scrammy would have been totaled.
